Shit really?
It easily looked like it could've been one anime.
Humanity leaves Earth for whatever and goes to colonize another planet.
Some people choose not to go and as a result degenerated to simple living folk.
Humanity on the other planet start having issues maintaining the colony and need to return to
Earth.
The two kinds clash with each other as a result.
Not sure why they would bomb Earth but otherwise it's a very convincing mix.
