before anyone asks, anime is Ghost Stories, and yes, this is the actual dub.
The localization team, at one point, basically said 'fuck it, do whatever'.
The series is honestly kind of shit, but it's worth it for a good giggle or two.

her brother that monsters only eat evil people like Republicans and they're not old enough to
vote yet.

No, the Japanese version was legitimately trying to be a 1spooky3me animu, but when it was
localized the voice actors basically ad-libbed the whole script and had fun with it. Look up the
IMDB on the cast, some of them are fairly well known names.
