I played WC 1 the first time at radioshack, messing around on one of hte computers. I think one
of hte employees was probably playing it when customers weren't around but I found it and he

Correlation does not imply causation. I think it's more likely that that shift was caused by the
gigantic deluge of MMOs that came out in lieu of WoW that played like it (usually for free) and
drew subs away from WoW.
Also, WoW is pretty damn old by game and MMO standards. You could easily chalk it up to burnout
as well.
For that matter, it's got a lot of negative press, even in the gaming community, especially as
the source of GENERIC KOREAN WOW-LIKE MMO NUMBER 356.

The only measurable way to judge a game's quality is by how many people play and enjoy it. It
doesn't matter if WoW got less fun, or merely less fun compared to other MMOs. Fact of the matter
is the game is not what it used to be, and the data allows us to pinpoint exactly when that
happened.
