See, what a lot of people don't understand is that the "Anonymous" we see parading around
nowadays is not the same batch of basement-dwelling hippies who were out rioting against
Scientology so many years ago.
Back then, it was doing something fun like partying under the guise of justice. The fact that so
many people were trolled in the midst of what was essentially picketing for picketing's sake was
just icing on the cake. Now, it's been hijacked by people legitimately trying to make a
difference.
This in itself is not a bad thing. However, when you take into account what it was and what it
has become, the means and goals, as well as attitude and overall theme has changed dramatically.
