I recently downloaded EoSD after listening to more and more 2hu music, like Kou Ogata,
EastNewSound, Tokyo Active Neets, etc.

I've only cleared one on one credit. EoSD is actually one of the harder ones. Mountain of Faith
and Imperishable Night tend to be a bit easier. Though that's not saying much.

The basic skills are definitely handy, reading ahead, and the like. You'll get those playing PoFV.
But pattern recognition is needed to beat the main games. You wont get that just playing PoFV.
