Yes, he was an abysmal military leader, but look at what he did before his military failures. He
took Germany from extreme poverty to the world's most powerful country in a matter of years. He
was a brilliant politician, but a terrible military leader. Plus there's that stuff with the jews
and gypsies. That, for some reason, makes many people think he was a complete idiot.
