I think this is fantastic (bar the allusions to god at the end) but suffers from the old issue of
the youtube version being higher quality

Agreed. It's been at least a month since I last saw it, so this hasn't been something that has
been making regular rounds on this board for a bit. /f/ may be reposting a lot of stuff
repeatedly, but compared to other content lately, this is hardly that.
Also, I'm willing to overlook the "God Rap" bit. The overarching message is Truth, regardless of
your religious or non-religious tendencies. I grew up in the hood, and I'd spend my time sleeping
under an overpass, working to build my life again from the ground up, before I would go back
there. It truly is a soul-sucking, dead-end environment. And worse, almost everyone that isn't
trying to find a way out tries to keep those that are, there. It's a classic case of Nietzche's
Ubermensche Dilemma.

Rappers do this sometimes, it's a slant rhyme. Both pronunciations are valid.
Consider accent and dialect. Depending on where you are from, (say, the difference between
Received Pronouciation and Northeastern Amercian.) different words rhyme with others.
