This is stupid.
Sticks and stones isn't meant to be literal. Words can't hurt you unless you let them. They only
have as much value as you give them. If every person in the world thought someone was ugly, but
not one of those people could convince that very person of it, then the word of the entire masses
become meaningless.

You know, when I read this kind of thing, I see one of two things... I either see someone who
never experienced hardship when he was young, or someone who refuses to admit that it broke them.
I spent all of my school years being punished for the fact that I didn't feel like I should
pretend to be someone different to fit in. I didn't see why I had to follow the latest fashion,
force my already poor parents to buy clothes and idiotic gadgets they couldn't afford, or try to
struggle to present myself as being above my pay grade. The thing is, I got the hell kicked out
of me in school for it. I got called names, treated like shit, shunned, and then told by my
teachers that I should try harder to fit in. Instead of doing that, I learned to fight back
however I could. I'd spit blood in someone's eye before I'd go down.

So because I was treated like shit as a kid, I'm supposed to have been broken for it? I was
bullied and picked on and teased and got in a lot of fights. I did not break. I grew up and knew
it was in the past and to leave it be. I did gain experience from that shit but I didn't become a
whiny almost emo prick over it like that pussy in the video.
