  >Tons of friends
And how many of your friends truly know who you are? And among them, who is really worthy of
knowing who a person is in the first place? Does it not bother you to be surrounded by so many
people who just say the same things over and over again? Does it not wretch your soul to hear
people brag at your successes when their minds are so empty that the only thing they can
comprehend is that you succeeded at all?
I'm not saying everyone is mindless but holy fucking shit is it rare that I find a person who is
  dynamic and real.
I know you're thinking I've got the heaviest fedora in existence right now but know this; when
you finally encounter that one person who isn't like the rest, it gets real fucking lonely real
  fucking fast.

Just people in general. A little self awareness goes a long way. I only know one person
(personally) who has shown themselves as being capable of free thought and another person who has
the potential to think freely. From examining both of these people, I think I've noticed what it
is that makes the difference between a free thinker and a zombie. I wish I had more information
to work with but it seems like one's ability to think with images is connected to one's ability
  to have a wit.
Unfortunately, the process of getting a person to develop a "mind's eye" is tricky but I have
already established that the other friend is capable of rotating images in his mind with ease
without having to tilt his head.
One day, I hope to have the cure to this plague of zombies but I must work one step at a time.

>> [_] Anonymous 12/28/13(Sat)00:34 No.2238608

  >>2238564
or maybe it's just not difficult for him. I barely tried at all in college and still graduated
  with a 3.84

>> [_] Anonymous 12/28/13(Sat)00:35 No.2238610

  >>2238606
Actually, thinking back on certain situations with the two people I've been working with, I
realize that honesty might have an effect on people if used over a long period of time. I
remember I used to be mindless and that the other friend of mine was also as such but it would
seem that after years of being honest we were able to develop a mind. That's an interesting
  thought.
I guess a life without truly lying would force a person to be tricky as they would have to learn
how to lie by telling the truth which would strain their wit in such a way as to train it.
I think I might be on to something.

>> [_] Anonymous 12/28/13(Sat)00:40 No.2238611

  >>2238610
However, getting people to tell the truth may not be all that easy since I doubt there are many
people who hate themselves as much as I did when I was calling myself a piece of shit every time
I thought about lying. Perhaps self hatred isn't the key. This is very tricky, indeed.
Who here knows what inspires a person to tell the truth other than self-hatred (guilt)?

>> [_] Anonymous 12/28/13(Sat)00:41 No.2238613

  >>2238611
  drugs

>> [_] Anonymous 12/28/13(Sat)00:45 No.2238617

  >>2238613
I might just be spiteful enough to try that but I don't know what kind of effects that would have
as opposed to people telling the truth normally.
Also, I don't mean to say that truth is the answer to curing this problem but rather that honesty
is the key to what might be a solution. The difference between truth and honesty being that you
can convince someone to tell the truth but honesty is a state of mind.
