I had no emotional reaction to this, neither sick pleasure nor disgust nor fear. I see gore as
unnecessary, a less stylish way to convey violence.
I believe violence is so much more frightening when it's implied, and you cannot see it. Imagine
walking down a dark hallway, with the sounds of sawing, choking and screaming in the distance.
Something like that is so much more terrifying than straight gore.
I've been completely desensitized by 4chan. While I have not surrendered my soul and started
seeking out this kind of deviant, shocking, horrible material, I still feel like a part of me has
