>look a little closer
Was the kid who shot up sandy hook beautiful on the inside too? What about Hitler?
Though I do think it was rather well written and stuff, I just hate when people say that
"everyone is beautiful in their own way! On the inside at least!" because that just isn't the
truth. Most of beauty is on the outside and if you don't even try to look good on the outside
it's quite possible your insides are just as bad.

I personally figured it's be one of those moments that everyone would know how the people in this
video felt and would feel like it was to inspire them. More of a perspective of everyone has been
called a mean name and felt bad about it. No one would put themselves in the position of the ones
insulting the underdog.
Still they should toughen the hell up. I simply can't feel bad for people who kill themselves in
the situations.

I remember when my sister first showed me it, the message is nice and all but it needs to be less

You should never pity people who kill themselves or try to do so, especially teenagers. They're
so blinded by their emotions that they become too stupid to see how quickly life can change. They
don't ask "where will I be in ten years? twenty years? Thirty years?" they just think "waahhhh my
life sucks so much I can't handle the painnnn" anyone who would give up something as
unpredictable and ever changing as life didn't deserve life in the first place

This started out as a great story. I laughed. Then I realized the creator of this video took
himself waaaay too seriously. He could have made commentary on how much unwanted nicknames suck

>people saying he didn't get over it
>made a flash about his childhood/teenage which tells people to get over it (in a very feelsy way)
i know it can get annoying how much he plays the victim part at the start, but the message it's
there, specially in the second half of the video.
And teenagers killing themselves over bullshit (not only bullying) have something not normal
going on in their heads, yes it's not the right thing but i don't think they deserve to be called
"useless pieces of flesh who shouldn't be alive to begin with", what if this was someone close to
you, or your brother even. regardless if they are considered trash to most people, they leave a
giant burden to someone when they go that will probably never pass on.

This started as an interesting little story then turned into a giant tale about depression. Not
my cup of tea, but the guy is great at narrating this.
Graduated now, but it reminds me of this guy who came to my HS class one day to introduce the new
Poetry Out Loud events at our school.

It's about finding something good about yourself. Hitler did what he did for a reason, not out of
self-hate. If everyone DID think that 'everyone is beautiful in their own way! On the inside at
least', and abided by that, then people wouldn't be so hurt

This hit me on more levels than anyone can possibly know. Damn near made me cry. Reminded myself
a lot of me growing up. I wasn't in a clique, I wasn't what you would say popular. I grew up
taking anti-depressants since jr.high, and even shortly after graduation, was admitted to a
psyche ward because of suicidal tendencies. This flash, is extremely inspirational, and hits me
right to the core. What is said, is all true. Any other Anons who have felt the same, I can tell
you, you're not alone.

I was involved in a motorbike accident once. A driver neglected to give way or even look as they
entered the round-about. A single month worth of riding would not be enough for me to be able to
brake correctly, leaving me lying on the ground, next to a twisted mess and a puddle of gasoline.
As I lay in the middle of the intersection, broken body, I started laughing because I realized
i'd felt so much more pain in my life than nearly being killed.
It wasn't even close by comparison.

As someone who has been diagnosed with chronic depression, I'll never understand people referring
to it as "pain."
It's more like an emptiness. There's no pain, but there's nothing else, either. In some cases,
you quite literally feel hollow.
>> [_] Anonymous 01/02/14(Thu)08:25 No.2245356
Physical pain has limitations, mental pain doesn't. Not everyone will be as strong as you. How
can you learn to go on with life when those around you won't let you? You're only capable of
doing what you can because of how you were raised. I should learn to toughen up and have thicker
skin and you should do the same and learn to be compassionate.

>they leave a giant burden to someone when they go that will probably never pass on
That's why people don't feel sympathy for them, they are making an incredibly selfish choice.
Also a lot of kids "try" to kill themselves for attention. That's why kids who are actually
suicidal never tell anyone; they know they'll be categorized with the attention whores. But it's
not their fault, it's the Zoloft.
The guy in the video gets way too emotional describing a very normal way of growing up. If you
can't survive being bullied and feeling alone and unloved in highschool, then you'll never make
it as an adult. None of these stories are very unique.

Of course hurt feelings is bad and can fuck up your mind really hard, but it's not like someone
raped him when he was 4 or something. He was called porkchop, kids are dicks, deal with it
And even if for some reason he still feeling bad for this whole incident, why he don't search for
a psychologist help instead of saying in the most whiny way that he was bullied? Its nice to help
people and shit, but being motivational will never help to overcome his fears and traumas
