This movie was shockingly good. I guess that is what you get when you have the two best students
(husband and wife team) of your best composure do the music and give the story strong relate able
characters.

I saw it with my girlffriend yesterday, there were kids everywhere and the whole cinema smelled
of the flu and urine. The movie was pretty good though.

Saw it with gf as well on Christmas eve.
Expected some kind of Christmas bullshit with overly-annoying and unfunny snow mascot.
It was better than expected and the ending was a nice twist on something that is usually boring.

She was born an ice witch or something to the royal family. She's a princess and was locked in
her room trying to learn to control it for the majority of her life.
She isn't affected by cold, and she took the colors of her dress from the coronation ball and
layed them in frost to make that outfit.

I'm shocked to say I really liked the movie and would even buy it on DVD.
However it would've been MORE interesting if they gave it a bad ending where she became the
villain the people took her to be and made a continuing story about an ice witch that you could
empathize with, but that'd be far too difficult for Disney.

I watched the movie and I got similar idea, that she had basically power over cold/ice since
birth or near birth. And at that point of the movie, she is queen, not a princess anymore.
A minor spoiler basically that she actually was bit more in self imposed exile in her room
(though her parents were for it) rather than confined there, and considering how her room looks
like at the point of the movie, makes it relatively straightforward to think that she is immune
to cold or highly resistant to it.
She went to the "exile" because she basically accidentally her own sister. And for the dress
part, lets just conclude MAGIC!
Also have to say, there is just somewhat brutally funny about how they handled the parent
situation in the movie, I had to hold in my laugh at that point.

Or that they would have completely decided not to either have any "true" villain in the movie,
but Disney most likely doesn't care too much of the idea of going for tragedy at any true level
in a movie, at least not this type of a movie (that I do recall seeing).
I might be tad on the weird side but somehow I feel that i.e. Wall-e might have been better if
the end had been a tragedy. But well, movie aimed for children.

Also remember how he sliced through the leg of that ice golem (let's call it that) with ease but
not the ice hand of our frozen ditz of a female main.
Don't get me wrong, while I find her to be a rather predictable character I don't dislike her by
any means. She's simply not as interesting as her sister, the ice witch, though I suppose that's
partly the point as she's a near polar opposite.
