it's probably more because guitars were far more portable and easier to make before electric
keyboards came around, so they've already caught on
you can get a decent full size acoustic piano for pretty cheap nowadays (sometimes free), but a
few decades ago they could easily cost more than a car or even a small house. i guess it's no
coincidence that a lot of the expensive pianos were made by jews either.
