I don't know how many of you on /f/ actually make animations, but if anyone could help me that'd be rad. So whenever I make an animation that's longer than a minute, the sound always slowly goes out of sync with the video. I think the video is playing slightly faster than the audio but I don't know what to do for it. I'm using flash cs6 version 12.0.0.481 Marked for deletion (old). >> [_] Anonymous 01/17/14(Fri)02:45 No.2260498 well i can tell you 2 things 1. i don't know how to help you. 2. i love this guys flashes. >> [_] Anonymous 01/17/14(Fri)02:54 No.2260501 whatever happened to this guy. his animations and art were amazing. >> [_] Anonymous 01/17/14(Fri)03:15 No.2260507 >>2260501 life, job, family, cartel. shit happens and i'm sadden by it. >> [_] Anonymous 01/17/14(Fri)03:18 No.2260510 >>2260501 oh and he is drawing a comic http://vinnieveritas.com/ccc-english/ >> [_] Anonymous 01/17/14(Fri)04:21 No.2260548 >>2260510 the flash animations were for a comic so thats fine then >> [_] ℛℯℳ¤ !PHANTOM2V2 01/17/14(Fri)04:35 No.2260555 Are you talking like one large audio clip? What did you set it as? I usually do a stream for larger ones which helps with syncing. >> [_] Anonymous 01/17/14(Fri)05:09 No.2260575 >>2260555 You're probably not still here anon, but I have multiple stream files for music, sound effects, and voiceovers. The thing is they slowly become out of sync with the video as it progresses. >> [_] Anonymous 01/17/14(Fri)05:58 No.2260594 whats the sauce for the two songs that play in this flash? (the one played during the flash movie and the one that plays with the replay button on screen afterwards). >> [_] Anonymous 01/17/14(Fri)06:55 No.2260608 >>2260594 the credit song is called 'feels like meh' you can find this flash and ^ that song on newgrounds; the flash page on ng will probably contain the song source. >> [_] Anonymous 01/17/14(Fri)09:18 No.2260650 I'm not a flash programmer, so I'm not sure if you're saying you have a loop of sound or video that slowly get out of sync, or if its a longer clip (for one or both) that slowly get out of sync. However, when I looked into how that 0x40 shades of megumi flash, the guy said that in order to get the animation to sync with the music, he used WAV clips, not a compressed clip like MP3. Something to do with the fact that MP3 playback ALWAYS had some kind of millisecond delay at the beginning and end of playback, where WAV did not. Perhaps if you start there, you'll find what you need? |
