Currently, I'm using DesktopX, more specifically a widget with a web browser control in it, that
loads this on startup.

Which widget?

Custom made.
Just make a new object, edit the script, go into the menu "Script -> ActiveX Control -> Select
Control..." and find the "Microsoft Web Browser" control, in the script you can address it as
"Control" and use "Control.navigate2" to change the webpage, alternatively you can just drag
whatever you want to display onto the control.

OP Here
I'm a Vistafag, so I have to use DesktopX, but XP users can just use active desktop.
