Young adult male feels inadequate that he does not have a white collar job, and cannot live the
kind of lifestyle that is associated with success (represented as women in this). He contemplates
suicide as a result, but chickens out, and thinks that he is condemning himself to a lonely life,
destined to die as a pathetic old man in front of his TV.
duh.

I'm not sure, but it looked like he didn't really care about the fact that the girl was sitting
in his apartment, talking to him, so it might have been a hallucination or something. As for the
money, there was only about 500RU (I'm guessing on the currency part, cbf watching again to make
sure) there, not really enough to obtain his unreachable goal of the swanky apartment with an
infinite-dollar price tag.
