I didn't mean the anime in general. I'm actually rather fond of it. It's just their fight. It's
so meaningless and horrible. If i was softer, i would probably cry every second episode instead
of just feeling awful.

you mean the kids' fight? i think one of the main points of the series was that the meaning was
something that couldn't be comprehended by anyone, so the only thing you could do was step
forward and fight, as a sort of extended metaphor for the human condition.
