  I had this game for the fucking NES.

  It featured continues. :D

  And there are 100 levels, 15 (or so) bonus levels, and then when you beat it once (with 2 players
  AND going through the bonus levels. YOU HAVE TO HAVE TWO PLAYERS OR IT WON'T WORK) you unlock
  HARUDO-MODO. Then you have to do ALL THE LEVELS AND THE BONUS LEVELS OVER AGAIN on hard mode
  (which is just switching some enemies around) with two players and then you finally win.

  I can reliably get to level 47 without having to use a continue password, though.

  I beat that game with my sister and it only took like... oh well I guess it did take for fucking
  ever but it was still fun.
