You guys don't get it? It's Alice in Wonderland, as envisioned by a Japanese. A dream world that
people wander into. Each "Alice" to have wandered in embodied one of the four suits of cards
-Spades, Diamonds, Clubs, or Hearts, and are presumably killed and trapped in their dream.
Venturing into speculation, each of the suits embodied a kind of insanity as well. Spades is
obvious, being violent and murderous, and her killing spree is eventually stopped. Diamonds might
have been schizophrenia or narcissism, and committed suicide(as is the way with many
schizophrenics), possibly unaware it was even him killing himself.

Clubs embodied distortion and dementia, eventually becoming lost in a permanent delusion of
rotting flesh(her death).
Hearts may have embodied something not usually considered insanity, but nonetheless acts as one,
love. Love creates a curious warp of all sorts of insanity, and thus likely trumped all others.
Together they explored the dream with the power of their love, until one was caught in the grip
of Spades and murdered the other.
