I used to hear that bizarre series of sounds so frequently when I was younger that eventually I
learned how to imitate it. Now people ask me at parties to do my dial-up noise. It's weird, but

i also forgot to add thats what it sounds like through your phone line as the data is being sent
to the server it really has no meaning other then it communicating with the dial up server and
the modem.
