Oh I think I should point out a small inaccuracy of this flash:
The captain's daughter was not nearly as pleasant as it sounds. It was referred to that because
it was used only with the captain's permission. The captain's daughter is in fact the cat-o-nine
tails. A whip with several barbed hooks at the end. Very nasty.
