  Dunno if there are, but it's easier to start out with a territory that gives you skeletons. Place
  a graveyard for those extra units to give you the edge over your enemy.

  this game is easy. i picked a territory surrounded on all sides by enemies and had a nice 5-6
  prefecture nation carved out in the first 10 turns or so

  But seriously, game's hard, but fair up until it drops those unidentified guys on you.
  fortunately I had a few groups in back-up, otherwise I'd have lost several of my areas.

  Turned from skele rush to archer/skele rush, to ninja rush, to samurai rush.
  Sometimes sniper or wizard rush for lulz.
  Spear and shield is fine too.
