[_] [L] The search for sauce continues... Anonymous 06/10/09(Wed)19:48 No.1002457
I've been searching for the sauce of the music from this flash for a while now.
The source that is always said is I am the Unbreakable Shard of Glass by Flashbulb, but I know
for a fact that it isn't that.
An anon in a previous thread suggested that it might be by the band Mogwai, and so far, the only
song by them that I've heard to sound anything like it is called "Boring Machines Disturb Sleep,"
but even that is only remotely similar to the song in this flash.
Another Anon posted that it sounded like it was from the soundtrack from Solaris, but after
listening to it afterward, I didn't find anything that sounded similar to the flash.
Is it a remix of the song by Mogwai? Or do does anyone happen to have the real sauce on hand?
Thanks in advance.

Quick bump.

Uh, is there a higher quality video to this?
Because I'd love to have it as my desktop.

It does sound like the song from the Flashbulb, but only if you slow it down by about 1/3. And
even then it's got a bit more added to it. I wonder if it's some sort of remix made for the
flash? I doubt it, but maybe if someone comes across PONCHO they could ask him.

This is the highest quality version there is, to my knowledge. Sorry.

Yeah, I've been hoping he'd pop in one of these days.
Oh well.

How do you make SWF's your desktop? I thought I figured out how but it didn't work.

I'm pretty sure it was something flashbulb, if not a remix
I'd have to listen through it all again

you could set your background as a web element then write up a small html file with the flash
embedded into it.

This flash was made by a man known as PONCHO. He used to post his stuff on /f/ quite often.
Unfortunately, I haven't seen him in months. :(

He did love The Flashbulb though...

His stuff also seems to turn up on .ru sites.
