This is only about half of the thing, but no its not rap, its something called slam poetry, and
it's not a black guy and its only partially based on his life. Its pretty much an ode to bullying
victims. To be honest, People are different, some stronger than others, some are weak. It's a bit
difficult to tell someone who's not you to deal with the same issues as you. You don't know whats
going on in their head, so what I gathered is pretty much, you can't really compare peoples
problems to one another, they're not really meant to be compared. People just have to find ways
to cope with them, as some of you clearly have your ways, this guy has his, and it happens to be
slam poetry, as well as many others. If this guy was weak, this poem wouldn't exist.

I was born with cataracts and had to have surgery to save my vision back when I can't remember.
So I've had thick glasses my whole life, and when I say glasses I mean glass. They don't do
plastic lenses for my strength.
So much of this video was my life as a child, it hurt to hear some of things said because they
remind me of it, make me remember being 7, 8 years old and sitting in my room wondering if I
should kill myself, or being told at 10 that my father was never coming home because a drunk
driver hit him while he was jogging.
But they trials are ordeals made me stronger, and to this day I thank my hardships for molding me
into the person I am now.

Enduring mental slings and learning to eliminate the problems causing them entirely is how school
prepares you for life as an adult. Antibullying campaigns are retarded, because even if you agree
with their sentiment that children's feelings need to be protected, you should realize that these
campaigns don't address what causes the bullying in the first place. Some kids have severe
problems that need to be bullied out of them so they can live a healthier life later on. Others
are victims of how our society works and need to learn to adapt or toughen up for the long road
ahead. Bullying actually prevents suicide, because it is a buffer between school days and the
real world.

I was bullied, but in the end im thankful for the experience. It made me a stronger person, even
if it caused grades 6-12 to be full of grief.
Weaker men and women end up spiting their past, so much as to end their own life. Not everyone
has the same emotional strength as i do, and i understand that. These children do not need to

I cant speak for those with chemical depression, but they would have became depressed weather
they were bullied or not. Many people with depression due to a chemical deficiency have actually
never been bullied, and have a successful life with a happy family.
Getting beat up and being pranked on is the type of bullying that the authorities need to step in
on, but being called names and being shunned is something you should learn how to cope with. If
you cant cope, then you need counseling/therapy to teach you how to cope. If you are chemically
depressed, then you need to be placed on medication.

up with dysthymia and Borderline personality Disorder on top of being ADHD and having the genes
