They used a pre-recorded video as the base, and after that added a basic 3D scene made to mirror the video. It's all very simple 3D green boxes. If you look carefully, in many scenes the 3D man is actually reflecting green. This is how they get the shadow and reflection effects. Sony Vegas'd it pretty much.
