Cities aren't just a bunch of people living closely together. Where does the energy come from? Or water? What happens to the cities waste? Etc etc etc. This whole thing is a sales pitch for a product no one every really needs. It's like he has some minor personal grudge and his solution is to tear down society and rebuild it from the bottom up in a "fair" way that "works better". And people and resources will just magically appear from heaven to make this happen for him.
