  to have compelling (not necessarily fun or good) gameplay. Now I won't defend LoL being fun, but
  they do have an extremely addictive game, which suits their business model. Ads like this are
  really good at getting people to think that the game might be fun, which gets them to DL it and
  try it out for a few minutes, after which point they become hooked and blow $500 on recolored
  skins.
  EA and such that sell games for money up front are much more dependent upon presentation, as they
  need to convince a player that has never touched their game to slap down money for it, but after
  they do, it doesn't matter half as much if they actually like it, apart from DLC.
