Well, I beg to differ. If it was that unpredictable we couldn't say for sure that something would
always get boring after some time. We know some things about big societies for fact, and I'm
positive it can be used on the roots (not mentioning only commercials, but academic circles, high
ranks in social hierarchy and the likes). And I think it goes even deeper. The real research goes
on and on for centuries and centuries and aims not to simply change society from the top down,
but to change the basic standards and principles in order to achieve a given goal (power?) while
still counting on the random factor. It's impossible for large communities to be 100% random and
unpredictable.
We can get on the point that "if it's happening it's natural, the actor is just another factor
etc" but of course this is what we're talking about here
