That is the sound of the most unimaginable grief. The realization that someone you love is dead,
and that there's absolutely nothing you can do about it no matter how much you beg them to come
  back.

It's amazing how it sounds exactly the same in every language.

Yep. People like this "marine veteran" are the reason why people get tasered, shot, or beaten by
cops all the damn time. Cops HAVE to assume that everybody is like this guy. It's never safe to
assume that you're reaching into your glove compartment for your insurance or your coat pocket
  for a pack of mentos.

I love that the guy's reason for killing this cop is "Because he let me."

Yeah. Had it been me I would've shot hum as soon as he pulled something out of his car. It would
have been entirely within my rights and I would've been honored to eliminate another piece of

It's kind of sad, but you can hear in the cop's voice that he sees this guy as an old man and a
civilian and really genuinely is panicked that he might have to kill this poor old fucker for
being an idiot... and then he realizes that he's not just an idiot, but genuinely psycho and it's
too late. The guy's certainly not willing to offer dinkheller the same clemency.

I've been robbed at gun point 8 times as a cashier. Most cops go their entire careers without
ever facing an armed suspect. Would you say it's justified then for a store to treat every
customer they meet as an armed criminal?

Noice strawman m8. Cops act like dicks because you either learn quickly to pick up on certain
visual cues or you die. It doesn't matter if it's a mother of twelve or some nig-nog on the
street, it has to be a snap reaction. Granted many cops are shitlers who're just interested in
  the power.

No, because that is not reasonably justified. As a cashier it would make sense for him to take
necessary precautions like a bulletproof window, a concealed carry weapon, and reasonable
suspicion/scrutiny of every person who walks in to the store he works at. That is a different
situation than an average person on the street.

As a normal person walking along the street, it makes sense to have a reasonable degree of
awareness of your surroundings and not put yourself in dangerous situations like isolated unlit
areas at night. You don't have to assume everyone is out to kill you, but also don't assume no
one will ever try to kill you if given enough opportunity and reason.

Are you two retarded? It's pretty standard practice for stores to have silent security alarms
under the cashier desk or (where it's legal) concealed firearms and bulletproof glass.

All customers can potentially be armed robbers, it's that cashier's stupidity of assuming no one
will rob him that got him robbed 8 fucking times.

  And he still doesn't learn.

  >hurr durr should i treat every customer like they might rob me

Yeah, after being robbed 8 times you probably should be a little more careful dumbass.

This cop did almost everything wrong and got the paycheck for it. He was an old senile man, so he
should take his time, calm down and don't be a jackass. Why didn't he handle the situation like
most other cops? With being calm and friendly?

I don't say it was good that the cop got killed, but this situation is like one single cop would
try to arrest everybody in an MS13 gang house. Died for saying stupid things. Fucking waste of
  life
