Bakemonogatari and Nisemonogatari (same series)
It's really awesome!
It has some of the best word play I've ever seen in an anime, nothing quite like it.
Bit of a fan-service though.

alright. a while back there was this looping flash of some butt ugly anime dude holding a spear
and running full speed. the camera was focused on his nose and it looped almost perfectly with
music in the background. and i remember reading anon's say the face was recognizable from some
anime.
