Poster here, no it's not. Its bad voice-acting and animation make a poor first-impression. The
storyline is completely fucking stupid and the characters reactions to situations are
non-nonsensical. (His dad asks him what he's doing and he looses his shit.)

Personally I like it because the show as a whole gave me a new outlook on life in a rough time
when I first watched it.
I won't deny it doesn't have faults, it's pretty cliched, and some of the characters go
absolutely nowhere, but absolutely nowhere but I was able to sympathize with the MC in a number
of ways, and almost all of the character were enjoyable.
Sometimes the english dub is bad, for the most part I don't mind it, but certain characters
voices are unbearable.
Just watch it in Japanese faggot.
If you can't the what the fuck kind of business do you have watching anime in the first place?
Anyways, despite it's flaws, people say it's a good anime because of the emotional effect it had
on a lot of people and the effectiveness of it's story in delivering someones point of view on
the meaning of life and family.
Family being what the show is named for "Clannad" being the Irish word for it.

I really doubt that. I haven't watched Clannad because Key already disappointed me with Little
Busters and Rewrite but I doubt the studio ever had any capacity to write a compelling character.
