i mean, coprolalia translates literally to 'shit lips'. that's way fucking cooler than just
passing it off as tourettes. it's also pretty apparent that she, along with most of the other
kids that get on tv, are completely faking it. coprolalia isn't contextual; you don't shout nigga
whenever you're around black people, and quite often it's not all curse words either.
if people are actually educated about this shit, they won't go around diagnosing themselves. very
very few people that claim to have aspergers or autism really do; it would be apparent if they
did. ocd is not the same thing as obsessive compulsive personality disorder; ocd really fucking
sucks and makes way less sense.
it's sad that we live in an age where neurological disorders are finally getting the recognition
and research they deserve, but are simultaneously cheapened by media and rampant self-diagnosis.
