Christ, its been fucking years since I played PSO1+2. I never owned a Dreamcast, but the GC
version I played so very, very much. I had 2 characters over level 100, and like 8 mules and

Episode 1 is the best
Episode 2 was not that bad
Episode 4 was horrible
Episode 3 was really good and a nice way to end the story
PSO2 is not that great after playing for a while though. Not the same awesomeness of PSO

I love PSO to death and it is still fun to go back and play every now and again on shithack, i've
capped maybe 8 characters over the years
But don't ever fucking think it was "good" by any stretch of the imagination. It was an
unfinished train wreck mechanically and had an audience so niche you had to be border autistic to
stomach the combat system, which I was.
The objectively best thing about this game is the atmosphere.
