Meanwhile in almost every other part of the world at the time, people believed in armor.

This video is very clearly fake, because the Katana is an extremelt sturdy weapon capable of
cutting through anything, flesh and steel alike, without harm.
The Hebrew media would have you believe that Europe and the Middle East are the superior
cultures, while they in fact are likely the worst!
Please delete this video to stop the spread of their foul schemes, for all our sakes (pun
intended xD)!

Pretty much.
I think it's generally accepted that katanas are pretty decent at slicing through the leather
armor they used to wear, and that the european swords were wrought with some more heavy duty work
in mind.

THEY'RE OBVIOUSLY USING THE KATANA WRONG
THE KATANA IS A SLICING WEAPON MEANT FOR SKILLED WIELDERS NOT SOME STUPID PIECE OF METAL TO BASH
TOGETHER LIKE DUMB GREATSWORDS
IF I WAS IN A FIGHT WITH A KATANA AND YOU WERE USING YOUR DUMB GREATSWORD, I COULD EASILY
OUTMANEUVER YOU BEFORE YOU HAD TIME TO THINK

the katana is fake
while great sword only got one layer with flexibility the katana got between 512 to 2048 layers
that makes it much more stiff
besides while using katana in battle the back of the blade is used to clush in other katanas
while the sharp edge is for armor and flesh
clearly they did it on purpose

For starters, the katana is not meant to be a brute force weapon. You're meant to strike quickly
with it, deal as much damage as possible to a fleshy target, and get the fuck out. It's also
important to consider the fact that the samurai mentality was much, much different from that of
teutonic knights. If you managed to kill your opponent and his final blow still killed you, it
was an honorable and respected death where your family would be taken care of by your employer.
If you died in battle as a western knight, your family simply starved.
The katana isn't meant to cut steel and nobody can really debate the sheer artistry that goes
into making one. They're works of art, certainly. Are they a superior brute force weapon? not at
all. It's not even a logical contest. it's like pitting a katana against a rapier, the sheer
quantity of steel makes it no-contest.
