Hey /f/. Space game guy here. Dunno if anyone is actually following these but I'll post notes
anyway.
I fixed a ton of annoying little bugs in the way the ship controls work, so it should handle
better now. In particular, the "reverse direction" key is actually reliable instead of making you
spin around a few hundred times if you run into edge conditions. The ship drawing code has been
modified to work with actual sprite sheets, so I can do stuff like fake 3D camera angles and
transforming ships. As such, I've replaced some of my 30 second pixel doodles with actual
rendered models. Still trying to get the hang of texturing in Blender though. Haven't yet managed
to make an asteroid that looks better than the circles.
