There's a pretty major expressway down in South Florida, SR869, that is directly under the final
approach path of Fort Lauderdale International Airport, as well as being directly adjacent to the
Markham Park model airplane field. The runway aims directly towards the highway as it meets I75
and 595. every month or two there is an accident involving a plane dive-bombing the highway ( its
a 5 line 70mph major artery). To make matters worse, one of the real airports radar domes is
located within the park, not even a half mile from the model airfield.
