Morrowind or Oblivion. Anything older exists for nostalgic reasons but you should only play them
if you want to engross yourself in the lore. They're vastly different games so who knows, you may
enjoy them all or only a few.

It really depends on your tolerance/acceptance of aged games. If you're a lore whore then
Morrowind would be best, but I'd recommend Oblivion.

Just don't. Skyrim or Morrowind. Former is newer, has a multitude of mods, but is simpler and
more hack n slash, as well as not being as alien and interesting lorewise. Latter is more of a
traditional RPG, has enough mods to make it looks decent but not a lot for actual gameplay, is
regarded extremely highly in many communities for it's world. Your choice, traveller

all Morrowind does is explain. whether well or poorly resides on your ability to understand the
directions. finding shit can sometimes be a bitch since it lacks the directional compass oblivion
and skyrim have

I'd recommend Morrowind. Arena and daggerfall are pain the ass oldschool. Oblivion is fine but
the main quest is retarded, expansion pack is much better. Skyrim is very good, but honestly I
haven't finished it so I can't give you a honest opinion.
