Long story short, FOEs are big mobs that tend to fuck your shit up pretty good, even if you're
way above their level, because they're usually packing all sorts of disables like confusion or
silence. They also hit like trucks, some times literally. And they respawn 3 days after they're
killed.

FOE is what they refer to as super boss monsters in Etrian Odyssey, made more dastardly because
while you take turns in other combats, they continue to move around the map and can join the fray
of whatever fight you're in.
