algorithm put a number on me, we don't even know how it's calculated. if i lose five games in a
row because of bad team mates why should my mmr be lowered, if it even is lowered by their system.
the only good thing public MMR has done is to remove many tryhards and ragers from the regular

First of all, Dota All-Stars wasnt first. The first moba was as far as I know in a Starcraft 1
custom map.
Second, the "custom games" part of wc3 didn't die because of dota, it declined because wc3 was
getting old. The reason people played dota instead of other custom maps was because dota was so
damn entertaining.
By the way, Dota 2 has in the latest patch enabled custom games in the main client. There's a lot
of great custom games for dota 2, for example:

custom games. that would have been a waste, if it could only be used for dota. even if dota can
