[_] Anon 1806843 [Read thread] Idea Hello. I'm sure you've been to this board plenty of times. You know what's annoying? The fact that windows doesn't let you view thumbnails of these flash files. I've asked plenty of programmers if they could make a thumbnail generator for .swf files, but nothing. So, I decided to take the task myself and make it. Since I don't have the knowledge of making windows thumbnails, I found an alternative method. It uses the same method that sites like Swfchan/Flashchan.ru use. It generates images from the flash to a specific folder, then the main program simply displays those thumbnails. It even supports a search function and soon ratings. Here is a thumbnail of my progress. >IMAGE: http://i.imgur.com/Gvtns.png (note: It's fully functional aside from a few page bugs.) So what do you think? Should I continue or would anyone be interested in it? Marked for deletion (old).
