Supposedly it was part of MKUltra, some CIA mind-control experiments. The freaky psychedelic
imagery may have been the result of an unsuspecting gamer getting a dose of LSD, which, it's been
revealed, MKUltra had used on random citizens. Supposedly they where also working on some sort of
LSD vapor, which could be administered through the machine itself. I guess we won't really know
for sure until more stuff gets declassified, which may never happen.
