Can someone explain this to me?

Religion and politics become immersed with one another. Republican party actively suppresses
public education while trying to push Christianity and non-science on our youth while
intentionally spreading misinformation and denying otherwise globally-accepted problems. You want
the honest to goodness truth? Make all the *le tips fedora* jokes you want, the right side of
American politics is a plight on the greatest country on Earth. These dumb fucks vote, and as a
result we suffer far behind the developmental curve that European countries are able to boast.

Basically what
>>2509119
Said. Poor education makes poorly adjusted adults which makes a poor political scene.
While you could say the problem relies solely on the shoulders of right wingers, it's an actual
matter of needing better education across the board.

Yes, I put the focus on right wingers when really its a problem with old politics as a whole. The
system is dominated by the grandparents of this generation's parents and their agenda is anything
but advancing the values of education and livelihood of future generations to come. Once they
start dying out hopefully there will be a larger majority of intuitive incumbents ready to fix
what has made this country so pitiful for so long.

Not only are we going to get a never ending stream of moronic politicians brought up in a
household where it's okay to mix church and state, but when the boomers fully go into retirement
we're going to get fucking swamped with social security taxes.

A lot of the signs and criticism in the video are really unnecessary, but I do have to admit that
I really don't like how a lot of people tend to assume that conservatives are automatically
close-minded or stupid. I myself have no opinion on politics, but people seem to forget that
there are a lot of retarded radicals on both sides.

Then.. this comes round in the same day.

Realistically yeah, there were. Until we force our citizens to vote in order to obtain a more
accurate choice of office, we can only rely on the two head parties. And since there was no way
Ron was getting the ballot, it was down to Romney or Obama. I can't trust my vote to any other
choice when I know full-well that most people my age refuse to vote because they don't want to.
>>2509155
Unfortunately true, they've fucked us indefinitely. Still, there is some hope for something
better than what we have now. But then again it's wishful thinking to believe those leeches will
ever be fully rid of.

Conservatives aren't automatically stupid. They do, however, cater to the lowest common
denominator, which happens to be predominately rooted in the religious lower-class demographic,
which dominates the population of the southern U.S. quite heavily. And, unfortunately, those very
same people happen to land on some of the lowest numbers of intelligence recorded in the
developed world. It's unfortunate, but you can't argue with numbers.

>since there was no way Ron was getting the ballot
With that kind of attitude, we will always be doomed to a two party system. No matter how little
your voice actually means, when it comes to deciding who wins, your vote still shows that there
is support for something other than the norm. That being said, I knew he wouldn't win, but in the
long run, it's not like my vote would tip the balance, either way. Better to "waste" it on
someone who gave me hope for a better tomorrow.
>> [_] Anonymous 08/30/14(Sat)22:17 No.2509183
>>2509175
That isn't the point, though. You and I both know there wasn't a snowball's chance in hell Ron
was getting office. Based on numbers and turnout from previous years, I had all the evidence I
needed to decide not to waste my vote on a losing ballot. If I had any trust whatsoever in the
people of my age group, I would absolutely have voted for him. But since I did my research
beforehand and came up with the evidence needed to deduce that that wasn't going to happen, I did
the next best thing: vote for Obama.

There are valid reasons to abolish federally backed free healthcare, and there are valid reasons
to demote abortion, and there are valid reasons to protest against Obama.
These people just happen to not know any of them.
