(1.1) Updates. - Smoothing enabled on video, if it runs slow try the Low Quality version. - Added option to disable male voice. Odds are this is the final version unless something major comes up. Just noticed that the "Quality" option on the right-click menu is gone, did you add ActionScript to get rid of it? If yes that's a bad thing to do, the standard options should never be removed from the right-click menu. Since smoothing is enabled now (which of course is a good thing) the flash might run slow on some people's computers, as you said. But had the quality option been there they could have just set render to low quaity - which disables smoothing in the flash but doesn't actually reduce the visual quality of the embedded FLV movie (antialiasing around its edges will be disabled as well but it won't be noticable if the X/Y/width/height properties of the movie capsule on the stage all are integers). People on crappy computers could have enjoyed lagfree high quality if they had only been able to use the low option, that's why it should never be removed from rightclick - always useful for some. Again I don't expect a new version just for this minor detail but it's just something to think about in future flashes. :) Again, good job! >> Anonymous 11sep2014(th)05:10 No.14868 OP P4R3 >>14862 I decided to remove it because everything that would slow thing down such as the screen filters and UI are bitmap cached. So what will really slow things down is the filtering. So to speed things up just set the screen filter to the last one which is no filter. Also I felt this is a case where aesthtics are more important performance. >> Anonymous 11sep2014(th)07:49 No.14875 C P5R4 if you have a pile of shit for a computer don't complain to the artists for it not running smoothly >> Anonymous 11sep2014(th)07:51 No.14876 B P6R5 >>14868 I don't understand what you're saying at all in this post, all I know is that flash disables smoothing on videos when quality is set to low so it would have been useful if that option was left in there. No idea why it would ever be a good thing to remove the quality option. |
