It really fucking didn't.
For one, it lasted for way too damn long. If you want to make a popup scare, make it last for
only a fraction of a second. Secondly, it was a simple blob of shit. Good jumpscares are
something complex and hard to understand, and take the mind a few good seconds to process
properly. If you see that kinda shit jump at you from the shadows, you're gonna shit your piss.
This was just tacked on for "de lulz" if anything. 1/10 made my heartbeat go up by 0.5BPM.
