  Also if you care these are from the first Japanese alphabet, Hiragana. You use this alphabet for
  making words that originate from the Japanese language. Katakana is like Hiragana, but all pointy
  and shit, and it's used for foreign words, that are all Engrish-ized. Like Orenji Juusuu for
  Orange Juice.
