It's got a playable demo after the cutscenes. Get to your objective on the map. Controls: Arrows: movement Jump: Z Shoot: A Pause: shift Use the map to find out where to go. Criticism: Walk animation looks weak, the knees don't come up enough for how fast he's moving. Obviously might be rocket assisted or some such, but to me it looks like he has wheels on his feet and is moving via some sort of shimmy. Z and A instead of Z and X. Autism overdrive on my part. You control the game completely through the keyboard, but advance conversations with the mouse. This is just a demo so hopefully you're already planning to fix that. >> [_] OP 1888106 >># Walking animation is from the sprites from the game, so I'd have to custom sprite the walk animation. The BSL scientist is only playable in the intro, you'll play as Jonathan Morris afterwards. I'll change the Mouse vs keyboard thing later. I kind of finished all the mechanics myself and I just left them once I figured them out, I'll iron out kinks as I fine tune it and add the enemy/first boss. |
