It seems awkward because they often pause to the track after jokes. if they got rid of that i

The best show for this is probably M*A*S*H. It's absolutely terrifying how dark that show becomes
without the laugh track. Any time someone tells me the movie was more 'real' or 'darker' than the
series, I tell them to watch it without the laugh track.
Friends is actually funnier without the laugh track, too.
Seinfeld just becomes awkward without it.

This show sucks monkey fuck! It's a glorified, generic as hell sitcom that cheap ass studios pump
out in volumes to make a quick buck.
When will humanity see through that they are being endlessly manipulated. In 10 years, another
cheap sitcom will replace this and the endless cycle of media butt fucking us will continue.

They never had an audience for Back To Earth, and people said it felt weird without it.

That is what I told my friend as well, but he never believed me.
I thought it was fine without any laughter there.
Makes me want to see the whole series with no laughter in it.
But since most of RD was with an actual physical audience, removing it would be hard.
Of course, I forget they will probably still have the mic recordings sans about 90% of the
laughter since it would be too dull to be picked up by them. (some of the first few seasons might
be worse off because of lesser mics since their budget was very low at the time)
