I remember seeing it on toonami and thinking the name sounded stupid and remembering how toonami had a lot of really shit anime. Also if it is good, sub or dub? (i usually hate dubs btw) >> [_] Anonymous 10/31/14(Fri)08:46 No.2582404 >>2582401 Cowboy Bebop is one of those anime that is fine either subbed or dubbed. I watched it subbed, didn't regret it. The anime itself /is/ overhyped, but it's still good. Watch it before/after Samurai Champloo, since they have the same sort of feel imo. >> [_] Anonymous 10/31/14(Fri)08:47 No.2582406 >>2582401 Uhh, what rock have you been hiding under? Yes. Its excellent, watch it. I recommend the sub simply because, for me, it fits the tone more. Its like watching a foreign film for me then. >> [_] Anonymous 10/31/14(Fri)08:52 No.2582408 >>2582406 Well toonami did introduce naruto, bleach, and one piece to america and also had a lot of other shitty anime, so i always thought it was just a bad idea to watch an anime that aired on toonami (then i watched code geass and ghost in the shell and wasn't that upset, just never got around to bebop). >> [_] Anonymous 10/31/14(Fri)08:55 No.2582409 >>2582408 Not every super-hyped popular anime that aired over to American television with dubs is shit-tier, thank God. >> [_] Anonymous 10/31/14(Fri)08:56 No.2582410 >>2582404 Champloo is better, as is kids on the slope. Bebop has aged terribly and has horrible pacing issues now. with animation going from amazing to barely there at all. I really love Cowboy Bebop but man it's old. >> [_] Anonymous 10/31/14(Fri)08:59 No.2582412 >>2582410 I listen to the music from Champloo weekly, sometimes daily. Good shit. >> [_] Anonymous 10/31/14(Fri)09:09 No.2582421 >>2582406 >>2582404 >>2582409 Anyone have a site where I can stream it or have a torrent I could get? I hate sifting through the piratebay and eventually ending up with crap >> [_] Anonymous 10/31/14(Fri)10:10 No.2582464 >>2582421 >streaming your anime actually I do that too lel >> [_] Anonymous 10/31/14(Fri)11:59 No.2582540 >>2582421 go to nyaa (d0t) se or bakabt (d0t) me >> [_] Anonymous 10/31/14(Fri)12:01 No.2582541 >>2582410 Bebop aged terribly? I have to disagree with you there. The cel-animation is fine and hasn't suffered from anything other than lack of clarity, but otherwise everything is as it should be. I watched it again about a year ago and I was shocked by how well-detailed everything is. Yeah, the pacing isn't all that good with most of it being filler but it's better that way than strictly following a single plotline. >> [_] Anonymous 10/31/14(Fri)12:04 No.2582543 bebop is extremely overrated because casuals watch it without having watched any other anime and think it's the greatest thing ever made it's still good, it's just not the greatest anime ever made or anything along those lines |
