Let's see how it goes. >> [_] Anonymous 10/29/14(Wed)05:56 No.2580070 Bit of a click when the audio repeats? Filesize is humongous for such a short loop with a small animation in the middle of the frame? >> [_] Anonymous 10/29/14(Wed)05:57 No.2580072 Literally installed flash today. Any tips appreciated. >> [_] Anonymous 10/29/14(Wed)06:06 No.2580076 >>2580072 Wheres the size coming from in your assets? The video? >> [_] Anonymous 10/29/14(Wed)06:12 No.2580080 >>2580076 No idea. Frames are from a 1.3 mb gif. Audio is half a meg loop. How does it inflate to eight. >> [_] Anonymous 10/29/14(Wed)06:17 No.2580081 Each frame is is a single PNG as opposed to a GIF There's your problem >> [_] Anonymous 10/29/14(Wed)06:19 No.2580082 >>2580080 Are you animating the can over a static background, or is the background repeated in every frame? Not that I know anything about Flash. It might be bright enough to cull the repeated visual data if you don't do it yourself. It SHOULD be able to, because odds are the background wasn't repeated in the source GIF. It may be the original audio bitrate doesn't match the bitrate you've got the SWF set to use. >> [_] Anonymous 10/29/14(Wed)07:33 No.2580110 >>2580080 the gif has 1 image of full size and then only small images that replaces parts of the full image when it animates when you import the gid to flash it flattens each frame so you only get large standalone images. replace the animating image files in the library with smaller ones or just change image compression to jpg instead (90 quality should still make the flash a lot smaller). other than that, fix the glitch in the audio upon repeat so its seamless and put the audio and visual source below the visuals and in the flash's meta data and you're done witha high quality flash loop >> [_] Anonymous 10/29/14(Wed)07:34 No.2580112 >>2580110 oh yeah, also turn on smoothing for each image so it looks good when the flash is resized >> [_] Anonymous 10/29/14(Wed)08:25 No.2580126 Audio source by chance? Very relaxing to listen to. >> [_] Anonymous 10/29/14(Wed)09:48 No.2580166 I like this. Quite soothing. Something about the music is reminding me of Riven >> [_] Anonymous 10/29/14(Wed)10:20 No.2580179 >>2580126 I've extracted a bit from this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l4EkevOByFo Clip is also Animatrix. |
