Because it's the only title of the zelda series to be legitimately creepy, not like Twilight
princess that was like watching the spooky scary skeletons video for 18 hours.
Also, the story tells you just enough for you to get paranoid over what's happening in there.
Kind of a "this isn't the main story over here" feeling.
